The Brazilian Glow was founded in 2012, and has gone above and beyond to bring the authenticity of the famous Brazilian waxing styles and techniques right here into the heart of Texas.

As a family owned and operated business, we want you to feel like you aren’t a number. Instead, we endeavor to treat you like family and go out of our way to make you feel comfortable and well cared for.

Originally from Brazil, our founder, Cristiane Upchurch spent over two years in a waxing school in Brazil, where the authentic techniques for Brazilian waxing are taught to perfection using live models. Cristiane also travelled abroad and visited eight countries in Europe and continued to practice her waxing techniques while attending school. With her Esthetician’s training, she was able to combine skincare with her talent and techniques from Brazil to further perfect her services.

Her goal was to bring her knowledge as well as over 18 years of experience to you, so that youcan have the peace of mind to know that from the second you walk into our doors you are valued and appreciated.

Cristiane has spent many years perfecting her craft, and her clients have often nicknamed her “fairy hands” because of how comfortable she

makes them feel during the process, minimizing their pain. Cristiane learned early on in her career that in order to be good at anything, you have to love what you do.
